Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice

Browser technologies and choices relating to websites, the panel and guest portal.

Version 3.3Document date:

This notice is issued by The Artifics (pre-formation brand); contact: info@theartifics.com. Cookies, local/session storage and similar browser technologies may serve distinct functions on The Artifics and Guester websites, the panel and guest portal. Opening an external link is different from automatically loading an embedded external resource.

Technologies genuinely required for account sessions, secure login, request verification, abuse prevention and retaining choice records are used only within that necessary scope. Optional analytics or advertising cannot be categorised as necessary. Language/display preferences are assessed against the requested function. A security-related name alone does not create an exemption.

Cloudflare provides connection-security/reverse-proxy services for the panel and backoffice. Security or verification cookies may be generated according to the enabled Cloudflare features; not every cookie in the provider's product catalogue is assumed active here. IP and traffic processing by Cloudflare can involve personal data even without cookies. Website plugins and the product panel have separate inventories.

Measurement, advertising or similar technologies requiring consent must run only after an appropriate separate choice. Refusal of optional processing must not prevent acceptance of the service agreement. Loading maps, remote images or embedded scheduling content may send IP, browser and referrer information to that provider. Transfers can occur without cookies; the provider and function require their own assessment.

Esri ArcGIS, OpenFreeMap and remote image sources may be used on product portal/map screens. Google/TripAdvisor review links and WhatsApp sharing direct users to external services with their own policies. Third-party content on The Artifics and Guester websites must appear in the relevant site inventory; a panel without tracking does not establish that all websites are free of it.

Session technologies generally end when the relevant tab/session closes; browser session-restoration behaviour may preserve an entry. Persistent technologies end at their configured expiry or deletion. Site-specific entries below explain lifetimes by technology. Website preferences/measurement and product account/security technologies have separate scopes. New tracking or purpose changes require an updated inventory and, where necessary, a fresh choice.

Retaining a choice record does not grant general permission for analytics or advertising. A permission-signalling system such as Google Consent Mode does not itself establish that every external request is blocked; cookieless measurement and third-party connections require separate controls. Not using cookies does not automatically remove a technology from consent/disclosure requirements.

Where a site preference tool is provided, you can enable or disable consent-based categories there; refusal and withdrawal must be as accessible as acceptance. Browser settings allow inspection, deletion and blocking of cookies/local storage. Blocking necessary technologies can affect login or sessions. Removing a cookie does not automatically erase historical server records; a separate personal-data request may be needed.

This notice is not a general permission for international transfers. Applicable processing and transfer conditions are required for external recipients. Purposes, recipients and request routes are described in the Privacy Notice. Viewing the policy or continuing to browse does not constitute consent for technologies that require it.

Preference cookies — wp_consent_statistics and wp_consent_marketing (wp_consent prefix in the active installation): first-party WordPress Consent API records remembering statistics permission/refusal and marketing-category status. gax_consent_version is a first-party preference record remembering the version of the choice mechanism. These preference cookies have a lifetime of 365 days. They are not used as advertising identifiers. Accepting statistics does not grant marketing or advertising-personalisation permission.

guester_attr — first-party sessionStorage; campaign/platform, referring hostname, landing path and timestamp; statistics/campaign measurement; lifetime of the relevant browser tab/session. A permitted record may be associated with a booking or Founding application submitted by the user. Being cookie-free does not make campaign measurement strictly necessary.

Google Analytics — website statistics through Google Site Kit/Google tags; _ga/_ga_* cookies support visitor/session measurement. This version’s application setting limits their lifetime to 365 days without automatically refreshing the period on visits. Because Google Analytics and Google Ads are linked in a shared package, “Analytics only” does not open it; “Accept all” must provide informed permission for both statistics and marketing. When enabled, connection, page/interaction and measurement information may go to Google.

Google Ads — a separate optional marketing/advertising purpose. Connection, page/interaction and advertising identifiers may be sent to Google for source/conversion measurement and, depending on settings, personalisation. Enabled Google services may create _gcl_* cookies. Google’s general policy states 90 days for that family; this does not establish every Google cookie is present here or every one lasts 90 days. Advertising cookies follow the applicable Google service/settings; the application’s 365-day Analytics limit does not extend to Ads or Cal.com cookies.

Cal.com appointment calendar — app.cal.com external content on the demo page; technical connection/browser information upon loading and names/emails/booking fields upon submission; the external provider’s service technologies and lifetimes may apply. This site’s 365-day preference period does not guarantee every Cal.com record/cookie lifetime. Scheduling and campaign measurement are distinct purposes. Recipients are described under Subprocessors and Data Flows.

“Decline” leaves optional statistics and marketing disabled. “Analytics only” permits first-party guester_attr campaign measurement without opening the shared Google Analytics/Ads package. “Accept all” permits both purposes; the advertising package opens only with that marketing authority. Refusal leaves informational content and necessary application operations available. Applicable GPC/refusal signals preserve the marketing restriction within their scope.

The footer cookie-preference link reopens earlier choices. Changing a choice must stop new consent-based processing; historical server/measurement records are not automatically erased. Region or timezone is not used to bypass necessary permissions wholesale.
