Guester is hotel operations software built by someone who worked the front desk. Before writing a line of it, Berat Sarı spent two and a half years at the reception of a four-star hotel in Taksim, Istanbul: the arrivals list, the night audit, the guest who wrote a review at 2 a.m., the WhatsApp group that stood in for a handover. Guester exists to give that desk one calm page.

Why we started

Independent hotels run on a property management system and a lot of goodwill. The PMS holds the reservations. Everything else, from guest reviews to competitor rates to the note about the boiler, lives in a spreadsheet, a group chat or someone’s memory. Nobody chose this. It is what happens when a small team buys tools one problem at a time.

The chains solved it with a revenue department, a marketing department and a systems budget. Independent hotels cannot, and should not have to. Guester is our answer: one workspace that reads from the systems you already have and gives the general manager the day on one page, with an assistant that prepares the next step and a team that stays in control.

What we believe

  • Read, never write. Our integrations read from your PMS and your channels. They do not change a reservation, a rate or a folio. The system of record stays yours.
  • The team decides. Claire, the assistant inside Guester, prepares review replies, briefs and context. A person approves them. Nothing is sent or published on its own.
  • Honest scope. If a feature is not ready, we say so in the demo. If your hotel does not need Guester yet, we say that too.
  • Built for the hotel day. The Morning Brief is written for the person opening the desk, not for a dashboard. The design of Guester follows the same idea: fewer screens, read in order.

What Guester is today

Guester brings three things into one workspace for an independent hotel: a daily Morning Brief, guest review management with reply drafts and Google publishing, and competitor rate tracking with daily public OTA rates. Oracle OPERA Cloud connects through OHIP as a live read. The company is based in Istanbul and works with independent and boutique hotels in Türkiye first, in Turkish and English.

The team

Guester is led by its founder, Berat Sarı, with a small engineering team in Istanbul. We are deliberately small: every hotel that joins talks to the people who build the product, and what you tell us in the first month changes what ships in the second.

Work with us early

A limited number of independent hotels join the Founding Hotel Program: three months of Guester at no cost, regular feedback in return, and a direct line to the team. If that sounds like your hotel, apply on the program page or book a demo first.
